I don't know why, but this picture always causes me to sigh… to reflect…. And to remember that in my moments of pause and thoughtfulness,. In my moments of need.God is there.). There are those moments. The ones that can either define. or stay neglected. She hasn't turned. She has remained as faithful as she ever was.

When I say hate, which is a strong word, I mean hate. I was even ridiculed by an extended family member about them. I knew they were "different" than all of my friends feet. I used to pray that God would change them. Grow them so that they would look "normal" like everyone else's. Ugh Seems silly doesn't it?

Me The fear and bondage I walked in as I feared that whatever I put in my mouth would make me ill. The anger and bitterness that choked my heart at the real possibility that I would never bear children. The burden and frustration of being in pain all the time, without relief. The doctor visits, special diet, nightly pills, and heavy heart…. Yes, I remember things being much worse. I am a woman of faith.
