Sometime last week I posted about an Armstrong Whitworth inspired diesel.well I quickly became unhappy with that model as I did not feel that I'd captured the loco of an AW loco well enough. I thought this might be part of the problem of turning a standard gauge loco into an narrow gauge one. Saturday, 17 December 2016. Thought it time I showed of my newest 3D models. I'm not really a fan of the computer generated renders Shapeways uses, I'm selling model trains not Glacier mints! First up we have an Armstrong Whitworth style diesel, this is designed to take the Kato 103 chassis and can be purchased from here. The above image is how I intend to paint my model when I get around to it! The above more fictionalized and industrial version of my Kerr Stuart diesel can be found here.
