But as soon as we left Zion and headed for Las Vegas, we started to notice! By the time we got to St George, Utah, it was well into the 90's. Back into Arizona for just a few miles! It didn't cool down any as we went south and "down" either. By the time we got to Vegas, it was over a 100 degrees! The road is ever calling!

More to this life. Wednesday, June 19. Now for our adventures for today. Everyone knows that Superman is from Metropolis - so we decided to make a stop and see how things are there. The second navigator - also known as "how much longer 'til we're there"? Our trip into Illinois across the Ohio River. Which was out of its banks because of all the rain. Then on to Metropolis!
