Snap, crackle, pop - I'm Chrispy. Tuesday, August 3, 2010. Welcome to my blog. My first post. I am a married working mom to a two year old. We live in New England in a cute little house. I am a speech language pathologist working with late talking toddlers. I just love this age when language is emerging and blossoming! I dabble in photography, I have a Nikon D 40 and am still not shooting in manual. I plan to blog about life, family, work and photography, I guess we will see how that goes!

I decided to go with the nickname my old college roomie and dear friend gave me - Chrispy, I was hoping that Chrispy rather than Chrissy would help me get a better blog name, but this will do, as long as Kellog's doesn't complain. Our wedding cake topper. Photo by Rodeo and Co. I don't think the grass has ever been as green as the day this picture was taken. The lawn is almost certainly more cluttered these days with golf clubs, tricycles, and balls - so many balls.

Snap, crackle, pop - I'm Chrispy. Sunday, August 8, 2010. Our weekend was fun and relaxing. Owen started potty training a little more seriously, he was proud of wearing big boy underwear when we remarked on how well he could jump without diapers on. We watched Elmo's Potty Time together and there is a scene with bigger kids playing in a band and little kids dancing. Owen asked "what are the big kids doing mommy, are they guitaring like daddy? So cute, I couldn't even correct him. Bad speech therapist.
