So yesterday I was really ready to go, and then my son got sick and then I started feeling sick, and now we are both laying on the couches in the living room watching the kids channel at 1:00 in the morning. Wednesday, April 28, 2010. I thought today would be a good day to get back to blogging. And let me tell you why- I ran 1 mile today- whats the big deal you wonder? I'll tell you- I weigh 225 pounds and I am not a runner. But in the last 2 months I have started to change that. I have been running in 1 minute increments. I have been working out. Thursday, May 6, 2010. So I registered today for my 5K race. It is in a week and a half, but I just registered for it. I guess I kept hoping that something would happen, that I couldn't blame for myself, that would prevent me from running. It hasn't happened yet, and now I think I don't want something to come up. I am starting to feel like I could actually do this. So I still may not be able to run the whole thing, yet, but I will be able to run some of it, a lot more than I originally thought I could!
