Just a small town girl. Sunday, June 21, 2009. 2 months to go! Only two months left until our big day! That means nine weeks. I can't believe how fast the time is flying. There's so much going on right now! 1 I got a job! I will be starting in the operating room at Baptist as a nurse on July 10, conditional upon my passing the NCLEX exam (which I take on July 1! 2 Andrew and I think we've found a place to live.more to come later ;-). 4 Beth and Josh will have baby Levi soon! Just a small town girl. Thursday, July 24, 2008. It's great to be back. Well, our group survived the trip to Honduras! It was wonderful, and were able to see so many precious families! It amazes me each year to witness the appreciation that the villagers have for the smallest things we do for them. I took some stickers this year, and giving them out was like handing out $100 bills! Seth and Melissa celebrated Seth's new agency with an open house. Lucky for me the date chosen was my birthday, so Steve and I scratched my plans for the day and made a beeline to Liberty. It was a perfect day! Sara Frances took her national licensing exam and passed with a very high score! Best buds at the lodge.

Saturday, May 9, 2009. Hats off to MOM. Growing up, my mom was "Mrs. Church Event Organizer Extraordinaire". And I recall one mother/daughter banquet in particular where everyone wore hats and the theme was "Hats Off To Mom". She was always thinking up catchy themes with exciting decorations. Everyone in attendance was to sport a hat. She always told me, "You can decorate any room (cheap) with balloons." I used that tidbit in some of my shower decorating and they do brighten a room. Hats off to MOM.

Zeh and I met online. We spent a month exchanging e-mails, talking over gchat and googling each other's lifeline! There were moments throughout our virtual communication where I would think, wow, I feel as though I am writing to myself, reading my own thoughts - who is this person? I knew instantly that Zeh was meant to be someone significant in my life. I learned quickly that he was a digital god, whose work was recognized globally. He also had a pretty cool set of green eyes. She had been to Brazil!

Wedding dress that you wear on your big day - that dress your kids will laugh at and make fun of in 20 years. "But it was so trendy at the time! 200 smackaroo's. And the veils! 250 for literally a piece of tool or whatever literally hot glued on a hair clip. That will be my something borrowed or something DIY'd.
