Saturday 4 pm – HeisseScheisse

Fuck the gazelles, I'm running solo. March 13, 2011. Today is one of those days I would love to have you around, if for no other reason but to hear you laugh. Max has been squinting for the last week or so. It has had me more than worried because, well, you know, every sniffle is pneumonia and every squint is a brain tumor. I googled brain tumors in toddlers and was set to call the specialists on Monday. It’s not a brain tumor. I have cut his bangs and lo and behold, no more squinting or head hitting.

Life as a Walton: August 2010
http://babywalton.blogspot.com/2010_08_01_archive.html
Friday, August 27, 2010. 4th of July, Other Summer Things, Back to School (out of order, sorry). So, here's the rest of summer. A little out of order, I know. Sorry. We traveled to Tulsa's new ONEOK. Stadium to watch the Drillers play. It rained, we got there late, the kids didn't sit still, but oh well. We had friends over for our annual 4 th. Of July cookout on the 3rd. Unfortunately, it rained all day and our favorite fireworks in Kiefer. OK were postponed. Everyone still came over and we ate WAAYY.

Wednesday, August 25, 2010. I know, I know. two blog updates in one week. What is the world coming to? This one's quick. Just two short videos of Caleb and Harper G's newest accomplishments. Enjoy! Harper has evidently been catching on to the phonics work we've been doing with Caleb. Pretty funny! We've been studying Jonah church-wide this month. Here's Caleb's first memory verse. Posted by Emily, Aaron, Caleb, and Harper. Thanks for the highlight. August 26, 2010 at 9:02:00 PM CDT.

Thursday, November 5, 2009. The Holidays are Coming! Hard to believe that Christmas is 7 weeks away but the weather here has been BEAUTIFUL for the last week- more like spring than fall. Holidays also mean two big birthdays are on the horizon. LOTS TO PLAN FOR ME! Let's get to the fun stuff: the photos! As Harper gets more active, she and Caleb interact more and more. It is very fun and, for the most part, peaceable. Enjoying a great fall afternoon one Sunday with the window open. I didn't even talk to C...

Life as a Walton: January 2010

Sunday, January 31, 2010. CHRISTMAS and NEW YEARS! Here's post-birthday December through New Years in a nutshell :). Caleb's class visited the Philbrook Museum's annual Festival of Trees. We had never been and it was very neat - all sorts of trees made of all kinds of materials plus an entire floor of gingerbread houses made by local schools, churches, Girl Scout troops, etc. It was a challenge to explain to a group of 2 and 3 year olds why they couldn't eat the candy off the houses though. Because the n...

Friday, June 25, 2010. Playing Catch Up and Catchin' Some Rays. Here's the last two months in review:. On April 25th, I completed my first 1/2 marathon. That's right - 13.1 miles of running. My goal was to finish in 2:40 (not a fast time but steady and in keeping with the pace I'd been training at). The race was AWESOME! Here are some photos:. The weather quickly warmed up and we've spent lots of time outside. Here's Harper G running around (does she do anything else! Getting some love from Big Blue.

Life as a Walton: September 2009
http://babywalton.blogspot.com/2009_09_01_archive.html
Friday, September 18, 2009. In the Swing of Things. One project that Caleb has really helped with is our Amish Friendship Bread batter. He was so good at mushing up the bag each day and especially with preparing the batter to give to friends and baking the bread we kept. We have another starter bag so we're going through the routine again. If you're looking for Friendship Bread, let me know and we can get a starter to you. Fall in the Walton house means FOOTBALL! To listen to our drumline. Over Labor Day...

Life as a Walton: February 2010
http://babywalton.blogspot.com/2010_02_01_archive.html
Thursday, February 11, 2010. Posted by Emily, Aaron, Caleb, and Harper. Links to this post. Valentine's, Dry Bedtimes, and Other Accomplishments. The weather has been all over the map (pun intended) lately. Warm and springy one day, wet and rainy the next, then cold and snowy. We've not received the snow that many areas of the country have but the general consensus. Around here is that it is TIME FOR SPRING! This photo didn't come out like I'd hoped, but can you see the cardinal hanging out in the tree?

http://babywalton.blogspot.com/2010/08/beach-and-end-of-summer.html
Tuesday, August 10, 2010. The Beach and the end of summer! I will make this quick, since it is 1:45am and you all really just care about the photos anyway. SUMMER WAS GREAT FOR THE WALTONS. Here's Daddy's helper ready to go! Most of the time, I take the photos around the house. So, imagine my surprise when I downloaded a set of photos and found this along with several similar ones. Yes, this is HG playing with my underwear. It was laundry day and I am hoping for everyone's. Hanging out under the cabana&#...
