Tuesday, June 2, 2009. Easy Pizza Sauce and Mini Pizzas. I acutally use this sauce all the time now. It's almost too easy, but I think it tastes really good. 1 can of tomato sauce. 1 can of tomato paste. Minced Garlic (i use about a tablespoon of store-bought minced garlic in a jar). Onion powder (maybe 1 teaspoon). You can add other seasonings, such as Oregano, too. Just spread on pizza and bake. Then you can refrigerate whatever you don't use and use it for mini pizzas later or something.

Tuesday, June 2, 2009. Pumpkin Bread (by Laura Stephen). 3 cups of pumpkin. 1/2 cup of oil (canola or corn or melted butter). Mix together separately and then add to wet mixture:. 2 cups of white flour. 1 to 1 1/2 cups of brown sugar - NOT packed, depending on how sweet the pumpkin is. 1/2 teaspoon baking powder. 1 teaspoon baking soda. Heaping 1/4 teaspoon of ground cloves. Heaping 1/4 teaspoon of ground ginger. Heaping 1/4 teaspoon of ground nutmeg. 2 teaspoons of ground cinnamon. 1/2 teaspoon of salt.

Monday, June 1, 2009. Pulled Pork in crockpot (by Annie). This is what I did last night. 2 lbs of uncut Pork (butt/shoulder) I used Butt since it was cheaper. 5 - 6 cloves of garlic. 1/2 of onion in the bottom of crockpot, add pork (seasoned with salt and pepper), add the 1/2 onion on top with garlic. Add water to 1/2 to 2/3 of the pot (don't have to cover all the way to all the pork). Cook for 6 - 8 hours. I had to do 6 hours since I couldn't wait for that long. That's it. pretty easy. I love pulled pork.
