Pastikan cukup rasa bawang, halia, serbuk lada dsbgnya supaya enak rsa nya. Bila hendak memakan tekoyong, kenalah gunakan teknik yang betul. Jadi nama tekoyong yang lain adalah siput sedut. Sedut bukaan kecil hujung tekoyong dahulu. Kemudian sedutlah dengan mudah isinya melalui bukaan satu lagi. Tekoyong kaya zat besi.
