http://thingsimakeinmykitchen.blogspot.com/2011_12_01_archive.html
Jam of the Day. Thursday, December 29, 2011. Thinking of a gift to make for my dear Stumpf family, I came across this recipe for Chocolate Balsamic Vinegar. And gave it a try. It reminded me of the time I made Fig Bread Pudding with Balsamic Drizzle. This recipe makes about 16 ounces of chocolate balsamic. 2 cups balsamic vinegar. 2/3 cup Dutch process cocoa powder. Jam of the Day. Wednesday, October 12, 2011. I love fall because of all the amazing Holidays. This is when I really get to some mean baking. But October is my favorite month for 2 reasons: Halloween is my favorite holiday and October is my last time for some breathing room before my work season starts and I have no life till April. Therefore, Halloween is a cause to go big! Katie and I sporting our best Halloween spirit. 1 cup frozen strawberries. 1/2 cup frozen cranberries. 1/2 cup frozen purple grapes.

things I make in my kitchen...: Guinness Beer Bread with Scallion Cream Cheese
http://thingsimakeinmykitchen.blogspot.com/2012/03/guinness-beer-bread-with-scallion-cream.html
Jam of the Day. Friday, March 16, 2012. Guinness Beer Bread with Scallion Cream Cheese. One of my favorite St. Patty's Day treats is the Guinness Chocolate Cake. I make. A number of people in my office this year gave up sweets for Lent, so I had to come up with something else to treat them. Back in college, my old roommate showed me how to make beer bread for the first time and it was this crusty, hoppy delicious bread. How perfect! A spread. I am thinking.Cream Cheese with scallions! 4 1/8 cups flour.

Jam of the Day. Thursday, August 25, 2011. Things to Bring to a Tailgate: Breakfast. Getting in a good meal before tailgating is always important. Trust me, you don't want to drink beer on an empty stomach. Sometimes, early football games, or early tailgating, call for a breakfast with friends coupled with a good screwdriver, mimosa, or bloody mary. Make sure your tailgate is ready for game time with these amazing recipes. 12 silver dollar pancakes, about 4 inches in diameter. 8 slices bacon or sausage.

http://thingsimakeinmykitchen.blogspot.com/2012/03/foundry-on-melrose.html
Jam of the Day. Wednesday, March 21, 2012. The Foundry on Melrose. There are a few places in LA that hold me back from trying something new, simply because I know I will always get a fabulous meal. The Foundry. By Eric Greenspan, is one of those places. Last night, I got some fabulous news. I began an internship with Lakersnation.com. I know what you are thinking; why eat the same food again? And had bourbon / lemon / ginger / angostura bitters. I had never heard of this particular kind of bitters, s...
