Our "Basis" Students Program is a new Hebrew University in Jerusalem program, which accepts students to various faculties of the university without a Psychometric Entrance Exam. The program is open to excelling students from abroad, who study in the Mechina and then continue on to their choice of studies at the Hebrew University. On June 10, 2014, we held the first event of its kind, in which Olim Chadashim and Vatikim from all corners of the world spoke, sang, and made us laugh, at Shuk Machane Yehuda in Jerusalem. At the "Arbes" hummus shop and at "Shem:Tov" coffee shop, we heard Olim, some of whom are Mechina alumni, from the U.S.A, Argentina, Russia, U.K, France, and Ireland. The audience included Olim, tourists, Tzabarim, and everyone in between.
