Tuesday, February 1, 2011. I wouldn't call myself an addict yet. but holy moly I'm LOVING this couponing thing! Today I tried my hand at Walgreens. I've learned that the best way to utilize coupons is to "stack" them together. Stacked means that you use 2 coupons for an item. one store coupon and one manufacturs coupon. So when my I got the weekly ads in the Sunday paper I was able to look at the ads and store coupons and then see which items also had a manufacturers coupon as well. Here is what I got:.

Life as usual has taken over. but I've made a goal this year to keep up on my blog. so here goes! I lucked out because the Fred Meyer circular this week has some AWESOME coupons! Sunday, November 14, 2010. These are a variation on a friends delcious roll recipe. I altered it slightly to make it a little more healthy. They turned out surprisingly delicious. 2 cups warm water. Allow this to sit for ten minutes in mixer. 1/3 cup oil 2 T water. 1 and 1/2 T chia seeds. 2 cups whole wheat flour. 3 cups white flour. Mix this together adding 1 more cup of white flour until just slightly sticky. Let rise for one hour or until double. Bake on 350 degrees for 15 minutes. Peas and Thank You.

Mmm Mmm Good Barbecue Sauce. 3 T worcestershire sauce. 1 1/2 Cup ketchup. 1 can tomato paste (6 oz). 1 c packed brown sugar. 1/4 c finely minced onions. 1 tsp minced garlic. 1 tsp dijon mustard. 1/2 tsp tabasco sauce. 1/2 tsp Old Bay seasoning. Place all ingredients in pot and low heat. Watch and stir until thick and carmelized. Store for two weeks in fridge. Labels: Sauces and Toppings. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).
