http://jenniferamaral.blogspot.com/2009/02/video-production.html
Sunday, February 22, 2009. I love filming; however I was never aware of the techniques used when creating a video production. I was unaware of how different shot divisions and different angles can portray different images and ideas. The next time I film an event, I will make sure to pay closer attention to such things. reflecting on media: Masculinities on The O.C.
http://jenniferamaral.blogspot.com/2009/03/masculinities-on-oc.html
Monday, March 16, 2009. I have to be honest, I absolutely loved. I could not wait for Thursday nights at 8:00 pm to watch it. The article entitled,. Masculinities on The O.C. Cg 28, pg. 454 - 462), made me realize that the show had many indirect gender stereotyped messages. I believe that it is very important to properly educate students to critically look at media. I was a teenager when I watched. And I was completely oblivious to the fact that the show represented males and females in the way they did.

reflecting on media: Just like Lizzie
http://jenniferamaral.blogspot.com/2009/03/just-like-lizzie.html
Monday, March 2, 2009. I have never been able to understand why Lizzie McGuire was such a popular show. I remember seeing my cousin with a Lizzie McGuire schoolbag, clothes, pencils, etc. I believe that my cousin had everything in the Lizzie McGuire collection. I was shocked when such a show became so popular over night. I watched the show a few times, and never fully understood why it was so popular. I completely agree with Laraine Wallowitz in her article. March 2, 2009 at 6:00 PM. One thing that came ...

Tuesday, March 10, 2009. Raging Against the Machine. When reading the chapter entitled. Raging Against the Machine. I was filled with so many emotions.
