Tuesday, 14 December 2010. Digipak - CD cover research. Along with the music video we also have to produce the digipak. I personally don't think that each page of the video should use the image of Claire or myself, I think the front page and one of the inside pages should, but I think some interesting graphic effects. Labels: Digipak - Research and planning. Monday, 13 December 2010. Our video consists of a small amount of props but they are actually very effective in the roles they play in the video, on...

Monday, 14 February 2011. What have you learned from your audience feedback? Receiving feedback from our target market was extremely important to the success of our video. We used the comments made from class members, friends and our teacher to improve our video where necessary. The first time we received feedback was from our teacher during our pitch to her. Monday, 13 December 2010. These are my selection of fonts which I have chosen to possibly use as my title. Of course I can only pick one. And from reviewing all six. Of these on the background of my front page including my chosen picture, I have decided to use the very last one. This font is called Charles S. I had found it on Dafont.com. I chose this one as I found that it suited the genre. Of music the magazine is based on. The genre is Dubstep. And the use of sub-bass. With the picture I want to use.

Friday, 15 October 2010. Using DTP and an image manipulation program, produce the front page of a new school/college magazine, featuring a photograph of a student in medium close-up plus some appropriately laid-out text and a masthead. Additionally you must produce a mock-up of the layout of the contents page to demonstrate your grasp of DTP. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Yr 12 media blog. Planning and Research For Music Magazine. Friday, 21 January 2011. Planning my double page spread. I have researched some double page spreads from various popular magazines, to widen my range of ideas for my own double page spread. This is a double page spread from Kerrang! This is my final double page spread I found that I thought could be of use to me for my layouts. It's from Kerrang! This shows all of the band members and there projects and plans for the future and how they're return is going to be "epic" and the "best MCR we can be! This is...

Sunday, 27 February 2011. What have you learn't about technologies from the process of constructing this product? I used safari for research which played a huge role in the making of my magazine. I also used the internet to update my blog and upload my work. I used Blogger for as a portflio to all the work I have done by using links and labels. Then after this, I used my digital camera for taking my photos for two reasons. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Yr 12 media blog. X Magazine- General Analysis.

Amy Jones: Evaluation Question 5
http://amyjoneswgsgmedia.blogspot.com/2011/02/evaluation-question-5.html
Sunday, 27 February 2011. How did you attract/ address your Audience? I believe that I attracted and addressed my audience through many ways, however I think my main way was through my colour scheme and bold text accompanied by striking images. All of my mastheads were all capitals and in a bold font that screamed "READ ME" to the reader- this certainly would attract readers attention. I used a mainfont called "28 Days Later". Which I obtained from the website dafont. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Friday, 18 March 2011. Stages in Production of my Double Spread. Following this, I had to come up with the title of my double spread. Therefore I thought I would use a similar font style to that on my front cover however, change it slightly. Therefor I went back onto dafont. Everything was starting to come together, so I began to add my text and soon found that I was warming to my double page spread. Finally I added page numbers on each sides of the double page spread. Overall, I am pleased with my doubl...
