I'm a guy with short-medium hair, but my hair tends to get puffy and messed up easily when I play sports, run, jump, put on a sweater, etc. but i've seen athletes with my hairstyle even in soccer where they have to head the ball sometimes and their hair is fine after, any solutions to this? Tuesday, November 17, 2009. How can I keep my hair down? Ok, I'm a male (as you can see), and I have medium length hair. When I get out of the shower, I brush my hair down, then shake my head sideways to get my hair how I like it. It looks fine at that time, then later, he front edges of my hair curl up and it looks so messed up! Any ways to fix this? How can I keep my hair down? Use hair straighteners, or when its wet blow dry it. but the best thing to do would be to straighten it. Flat iron the edges.
