A look into our journey as independent missionaries to the people of Kenya. Sunday, November 18, 2012. God gave us a great trip back to the U.S. on Nov. 5th. We flew in to Charlotte, N.C. for a visit with Michael's Dad. Next we spent time with Kellie's cousin's family in Huntsville, A.L. This Thanksgiving week, we're in Fayetteville, GA with Kellie's parents and Michael old stomping grounds. We look forward to seeing more family and friends in the coming weeks! A look into our journey as independent missionaries to the people of Kenya. Our location in Kenya is near the town of Kaptagat just outside the city of Eldoret. At an elevation near 8,500 feet, the land is lush and fertile, as opposed to the desert conditions in eastern Kenya. In the Spring of 2011, the GOGCP was able to purchase 5 acres of prime land in the area of Kaptagat. The property is in close proximity to the Cheptigit Primary School, shopping area and medical dispensary. View of new Property.

A journey to Eldoret. Making my way to a new home. Things have been ok since the Medlin’s left. I obviously am not lonely, which is something everyone was worried about. Things are just different. I’m so looking forward to a good shower and a toilet (you can only squat above a whole so many times each day before you have hit your limit.). That I will be content. That I will use the 26 days I have left to really use my time wisely for God. That I will remember why I’m here in the first place.
