So, today in my tennis class I was talking to my instructor about moving and medical school and all those things that seem to be the only topic of conversation these days. I really do like it when people give us advice about med. school. It makes me feel more prepared and excited. My tennis instructor's advice, however, was less than exciting. Monday, September 6, 2010. In Sickness and in Health. Tonight we are definitely experience the former.in sickness. Tomorrow are Stud's first 2 block exams. Which means our Labor Day weekend was made up of Stud studying and me being bored. Until this afternoon, when Stud started to feel. queasy. THIS continued until about 10:00 pm. Finally, Stud started to feel well enough to fall asleep. Hopefully there aren't any more episodes tonight and he can recover enough to do well on his block exams tomorrow.

Saturday, August 21, 2010. West Virginia State Fair. Went to the West Virginia State Fair last night with the von Erck family. Rode the really high, really spinny swings (after fair food: cheeseburger, roasted corn and FUNNEL CAKE). The guy in front of us fell out of the swing as it took flight. Wife of an MD (Well, almost . ☺). Monday, September 20, 2010. DH's residency app was officially submitted on Friday afternoon! Many DH is fairly calm and laid-back about it, but I'm the nervous wreck. I wonder if we applied to the right programs, if we applied to enough programs, etc. I just need to calm down and wait for the interview invites. Anyways, that's my ramble for today.
