Monday, September 22, 2014. Happy 1st Birthday, Robert Tyler! To celebrate Robert turning 1, we had a bouncy ball themed party at our house! We are so thankful that all of his family were able to be there to celebrate with us. A special thanks to grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins who traveled to be here. It was such a special day! Birthday boy opening presents! Sing and giggle Mickey Mouse! Here comes the Birthday Boy! Caroline James, 6 years old. Skylar Kate, 6 years old. Savannah Jane, 4 years old.

Sunday, May 31, 2015. RTM: 20 Months Old. Robert Tyler is 20 months old! Sunday, May 17, 2015. Beautiful flowers from my boys! Bringing Mommy her present. You know you have a little boy when your Mother's Day presents are wrapped in sports balls and blue snowmen paper. But I wouldn't have it any other way! Sampling the icing for cinnamon rolls. Brunch with Mimi, Minde, James, Caroline and Wilson:. Early morning wake up means a sleepy looking boy for brunch. These two boys are becoming fast friends.

Friday, August 22, 2014. Robert Tyler is 11 months old! This month Beau cut two new teeth (that makes 9 so far! Started saying dada dada (although I don't think this is his official first word because he uses it for everything and just likes how it sounds when he says it), and also took his first step! Right now he is a very nervous and cautious walker so he is taking his time to perfect this new skill. In the couple of weeks after his first step he worked his way up to taking 4-5 steps independently.

Saturday, June 6, 2015. Destin, Florida 2015. We had a great vacation in Destin, Fl! We had beautiful weather, lots of fun on the beach and in the pool and yummy dinners every night. It was so nice to spend that time with family and Beau absolutely loved playing with all of his big cousins. So thankful for an amazing week! Overnight stop in Birmingham and ready to finish the trip and start vacation! Playing corn hole with Daddy and loving it! Wilson, 2 years old. Caroline, 7 years old. Skylar, 7 years old.

Fall Break in Orange Beach. We took a last minute trip with Gigi to Orange Beach for a few days over Fall Break! We waited until a few days before we planned to go to see how the weather would be and decided to give it a try. I had never been to the gulf in October, and it was beautiful! Gorgeous cool beach weather, and perfect water and waves. Maybe a little cold for Tyler's taste, but the girls didn't mind! They did pretty well all week! All smiles on the way down. They were pretty amused by it :) .

James, Caroline, Wilson, Mimi, Nana, Pop and I started our journey in Atlanta. At dinner, our server brought a note for the kids telling them we were leaving in the morning and Mickey and Minnie dolls for them to carry on the plane. Caroline was in shock! She truly loves all things Disney! It was very special. Maggianos for the Big Surprise.

We had the best Labor Day weekend ever! Tyler was off for the holiday and we avoided all responsibilities and played all weekend! Even though it is really challenging sometimes, I still want to *try* ;) and relish every second of this time because I know we will never get it back. The girls relished every second too and had a blast swimming and playing with Daddy. And picked out her own socks and shoes :). Wishing in the fountain. Trying on hipster glasses :). Back to the pool for Labor Day afternoon!

Ryan and Jenny and the boys came in town for Thanksgiving, and we all had a great time eating and playing. Tyler spent most of the time working, but everything went smoothly and he had a good first Black Friday at his new store. Savannah is thankful for her family and her pool that we don't have? Richardson Beach Trip over the years. My how things have changed since our first trip! Tyler and I started going to the Outer Banks after we moved to Greenville. We took a few trips with grad school friends, and spent each anniversary there while we lived in NC. It wasn't until baby Skylar came along that it became our "family" trip. We have kept going every year since then and our family has gotten bigger and bigger! Our first family trip when Skylar was 3 months old. Why is this hat in my face!

Knoxville Visit and Beau's Birthday Party. We spent a really fun weekend in Knoxville visiting family and celebrating our newest nephews first birthday. As always, these girls got right to work playing and having fun together! Tuckered out after a long day of traveling and playing. We had a little hiccup on this particular trip when we left an entire bag at home that happened to have Skylar's sleep meds in it. We unfortunately learned that without them, she doesn't sleep a wink! The sweet birthday boy!

October was the craziest, busiest, month we have had in a long time! It even makes me tired looking back at the pictures ;) We learned in October that we would be making a huge life transition.moving our family from VA to TN! We ended up purchasing a house that I had seen for less than 5 minutes and that we had never seen together, but we love it and are very happy with the area and neighborhood. But of course missed Daddy when he was gone). Learning to swing by herself! They were a hit! Hat Day at school.

In July we took a trip to St. Louis for Skylar to see a new neurologist at Washington University. Her appointment was the main reason for the trip, but we were able to stay a few days and see family and have some fun too! Gigi came with us too and enjoyed seeing some of her favorite parts of St. Louis from when she lived there. On the way there we stopped at Lambert's in Sikeston, Mo. Savannah loved it and thought the throwed rolls were the coolest thing ever! We visited the arch our first afternoon.
