Thursday, 2 July 2009. That was an unexpected break! I really had no intention of taking a blogging break but life with the kids has just taken over really and in a nice way too. Because of this I haven't even been crafting! The sewing machine has got some dust on it, the hinges of my craft trunk are all squeaky and I'm at a loss as to what to do next. Well I tell a small lie, I made a bracelet yesterday. A very quick smokey quartz and silver bead bracelet which was a retirement gift. I'm lucky I can type.

Saturday, 31 January 2009. A cupcake, an Owl and some fabric. As I mentioned in my last post, I have been asked to make some Cupcake decorations. Sunday, 24 August 2008. A birthday celebration and more. My first born son was 2 on Saturday. I cannot believe how quickly 2 years has passed. Sunday, 19 April 2009. I'm lucky I can type. Its been a while since I last posted but I have good excuses. Too busy making stuff and thats the best excuse I think. The crocheting has been coming on leaps and bounds. I've now made a small blanket for M's teddy, one for E's stinky bunny and one for a friends little girl. The one above was done in 3 days. My friend said I should make something for her little girl rather than buy, so in my stupid wisdom I thought I would do a blanket. I do love it though.

Saturday, 21 June 2008. The Results are in and the Winner is. So the deadline has gone and I prepared for my 1st ever giveaway. Being the sort of person who is incredibly organised I collated the names and printed up labels to write them on. I then retrieved the camcorder to record it on video and the battery was flat! So I have fallen back to old faithful and taken photos. Firstly to show it's a fair draw all of the names prior to folding and putting in the hat. Then pick the one that "felt right".

Craig had a call the other evening asking if we had an alarm fitted in our house. The guy calling explained that he was calling from an alarm company and they were looking for a house in our area to give a free alarm to.
