So...now what?

I recognize that it's been a while. This project took much longer than any of us anticipated. It's not 100% complete but it is a working kitchen now! That was rough and when I have my own place, I WILL spend the extra money to get the job done in a week. Here you go. The landlord intends to add a tile back splash but who knows when that will actually happen. I'm not holding my breath. I'd actually prefer that he stay away for a while! At least until I'm out of this house. The Reason For My Insanity.

Just another day in paradise. I learned that traveling by yourself is kind of awesome though.if you like being completely selfish with your vacation. I ended up really enjoying myself. Christmas at the White House. Roommates Emily (left) and Kate (right). My camera on my phone didn't really like the photo conditions but this one turned out pretty cool. Bo the dog made from pipe cleaners. The White House Christmas tree visible through the window. The stairway to the residence. It's beginning to look a lot like. This little doll is supposed to be me. There are two others that represent my roomies. This Merry Christmas sign was one of the cheapest decorations, but it's my favorite.

Remember that last time I thought that house could be a home? I was wrong. This new little place is much closer to work and only about five minutes from The DC Memmotts! It's a little smaller than the other place but it's so much happier. Here you go.2006 27th street south! I need curtains. There is a streetlight right outside the front windows. You say earwig - I say NO! They are just so gross! It's not unusual to see a few earwigs in the basement each summer but this year has been a little ridiculous. There is something unsettling about picking up the remote and having an earwig drop into your hand or feeling a tickle on your foot and kicking the earwig that was beginning to crawl up your leg across the room. gahhhhh.I've been killing 2-3 every day this week! They are so patient with him and have worked so well with him and given him so much encouragement.
