New Year's Day at the Johnston's house- Charlie and Amanda were playing "Hurricane Ike"- seriously, they piled up a bunch of toys, as if the hurricane had just swept through making the mess. Sunday, July 26, 2009. Dora, Bowling, and Baby. Liv's life has become busier and busier. Last week, we went to see Dora Live! While it was pretty tortuous for me, Liv loved it. She even dressed up as Dora. The resemblance is pretty remarkable. On Friday, she took a field trip with her Pre. K class to Westgate. Lanes for her first bowling experience. Monday, December 28, 2009. It is good to be four years old. Or, at least it is good in our house. We celebrated Christmas at home - no traveling - and it was wonderfully simple and stress free. Mimi, Papa, Aunt Meg, and her boyfriend Joey shared Christmas Eve and Christmas Day with us. We grazed on tamales and ham and sweets as far as the eye could see. She even entertained us with a song.
