Friday, April 20, 2012. Too weary to move. Too intimidated to try. Thursday, April 05, 2012. Got some gunk on my shoe. And now its stuck. Now its a part of the sole. Just some more muck. Saturday, January 24, 2015. Poem: (She Doesnt Know). There's a cloud over my head. Deathlier than any sword. Silver lining or not. Its louder than a raging storm. I have no God to offer her. My faith is in my love for her. But some days I love me more. Some days I cannot save her. I break out in cold sweat. I whisper her name in the dark. I rub the sleep from my eyes. Friday, October 05, 2012. The heart is generous. Love fills it to the brim. The heart is made for love. And love's not wasted. When the world is full of things. A mother who's more than motherhood. A friend, a foe and everything in between. A father who's the first man. You ever kissed on the cheek. And hoped that every man that followed. Lived up to at least a shadow of the man. A sister who was always there. Even if just to fight. Caring in a way, only sisters can. Promising to lend even her soul.

Tuesday, December 09, 2014. I like it when its quiet. I’m allowed it. A few minutes everyday. But there’s a din within. Being hard on myself is easy. Jumping up on a pedestal. Only a little more work. Accepting the simple plausible truth. Staring back at me from the mirror. Somehow, is a hike. Always, I waited. For them to leave. And my heart bled. Till it could bleed no more. Yet I was lucky. For they left in time. But not this time. He is sticking it out. How this will end. Is anybody’s guess.
