Tuesday, June 29, 2004. 202 رئيس الجمهورية هو الرئيس الأعلى للسلطة التنفيذية والقائد العام للقوات المسلحة. 203 ينتخب الشعب رئيس الجمهورية بالاقتراع العام الماشر السري. وينظم القانون إجراءات انتخاب رئيس الجمهورية. 204 يشترط فيمن ينتخب رئيسا للجمهورية أن يكون عراقيا بالولادة , ومن أبوين عراقيين , وبالغا الأربعين عاما في الأقل , وحاصلا على الشهادة الجامعية الأولية في الأقل.

Tuesday, June 29, 2004. 15 تمارس السلطة في العراق بموجب أحكام الدستور والقوانين. 16 لايجوز ان يخالف أي قانون أحكام الدستور. 17 يسود القانون جميع العلاقات والتصرفات في العراق. 18 تلتزم مؤسسات الدولة القانون. 19 تصدر الأنظمة لتيسير تنفيذ القوانين. ويجب ان لا تخالفها. 20 تصدر التعليمات لتوضيح كيفية تنفيذ القانون أو النظام. ويجب ان لا تخالفهما. 22 لايجوز أن يكون للقانون أثر رجعي.
