Tuesday, June 26, 2012. Rollin' On The River. It is a fun filled week in Louisiana as ALL of Suzanne's sisters and the boys cousins will be coming into town. First in from San Diego are Ethan and Keira Dunn with mother Erin. Today, the gang went on a swamp tour. Jacob said he saw either 3, 4, or a hundred alligators. Based on the pictures, we know there was at least one and he was a whopper! Monday, June 25, 2012. Little Boy Profile-Jacob Brister. Jacob pretty much expects to be taken somewhere or have s...

Wednesday, October 31, 2012. For Halloween, we hosted our annual Halloween Party and took the kids trick-or-treating around the neighborhood. This has gotten to be something that we really enjoy and hopefully the kids do too! The highlight of the night was Elise Parnell who really made sure that Patrick was well taken care of. I know who we will hire to babysit in just a few years :). Saturday, October 27, 2012. Saturday, October 20, 2012. Wednesday, October 3, 2012. Jacob's First Field Trip.

Monday, December 31, 2012. This was the extent of the Brister New Year's celebration, which took place around 7PM, by the way. Patrick was a little braver than Jacob! Tuesday, December 25, 2012. Santa Claus and Christmas Day Festivities. Monday, December 24, 2012. The boys had such fun with their cousin William, who was in town for Christmas. I think they were all a little excited for Santa Claus at Christmas Eve dinner. (See below). Saturday, December 22, 2012. Monday, December 17, 2012.

Summer has also included some impromptu concerts. Trips to the dentist. Fun on the rope swing. Trips back to the dentist for a cavity. And lots of love. We had the playroom all ready and waiting for the girls to arrive. As soon as they got here they all got changed into their shirts and ate pizza. How cute are they? A sweet friend of mine personalized the cups for them. I ordered some of Elise's favorite cookies. Then the girls got to work decorating pillow cases. Madeleine spelled Pontchartrain Rules!

The Parnell Family: Elise's specs

Sure enough, our girl needs glasses. She is actually a little far sighted and so needs them for reading. The Dr. said she could grow out of it, or maybe not- that we should have her re-screened in a year or two unless she complains of any other issues. She is super excited, and enjoyed picking out her frames. I have to admit- she looks adorable in them. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile. She is a wonderful big sister to Lila and Bennett. Lila has been the vocal one from the sta...

Boss is not a happy camper. We have seen a few coyotes in our yard, and so he is on lockdown and can no longer go back there and explore. I think this is what a depressed maltipoo looks like. Elise's First Piano Recital. Elise started taking piano lessons in January, after asking to do so for a while. Tonight was her very first recital and she played "It's a Small World". She was a little nervous, but did a wonderful job. We are happy that she enjoys her piano lessons so much. And they are off. Myrt was ...
