GreenishLady: June 2006
http://greenishlady.blogspot.com/2006_06_01_archive.html
Originally Blogging the Artist's Way. Thoughts, musings, experience of the 12-week course, January to March 2006. And after that? Life, creativity, writing. Where does it all meet? Thursday, June 29, 2006. Perhaps by next week, I will have written a poem that meets the suggestion for this week. This one comes somewhere towards fitting it, in that the title is a phrase I find myself using from time to time. And if the season’s clock jams up,. And every day I wake expecting. Falling early, early,. At one a...

Tarot and Incense: Sigh
http://frommetome.blogspot.com/2010/01/sigh.html
The deepest secrets no one knows. Friday, January 29, 2010. In about 50 minutes, A's flight will be taking off - first to Hong Kong, then onto The Other Home in Melbourne. I'm sitting here, drowsy from all the cough syrup I've been having (no no, not to numb the pain, I am actually sick) and a little glumstoned. It's been an incredible month.not always good, but just incredible. Like the kind I'll look back on, and go MAAHHHNNNNNN! Pray for us ok? Given to you by Liquifier. The work must go on.

Tarot and Incense: March 2009
http://frommetome.blogspot.com/2009_03_01_archive.html
The deepest secrets no one knows. Wednesday, March 25, 2009. Of Mr Winter, theatre and discipline. There were afternoons just before exams when nobody would stay back for his classes. It would be him and me. I liked his classes. He encouraged gentleness, he pointed out cliches. He got me up on stage to recite William Blake. Nobody could ask to leave the class without getting a droll 'Going for a quick smoke, are we? But I was there. I sat down with paper and pen and got moving. I was a writer. For their ...

http://frommetome.blogspot.com/2009/11/letter.html
The deepest secrets no one knows. Tuesday, November 17, 2009. Dear Bal Thackeray,. Do us all a favour and shut up. Seriously. I don't know if you ever did anything good for your precious state, apart from create chaos, but even if you did, I don't care. I'm not writing as a journalist, Mr Thackeray. Nor as a political commentator and not even as a passionate Indian as such. I don't recall anybody staying home from school to listen to one of your speeches. And how does he do it? He is more patriotic than ...

Tarot and Incense: Changes
http://frommetome.blogspot.com/2010/01/changes.html
The deepest secrets no one knows. Friday, January 15, 2010. Life's been picking up, in pace, in value. A year of full-time work completed and a need a for change arisen. Sudden illness, even more sudden death. And seeing A. Dadu pulled through with gusto, the rest of us ate lots of chocolate (I did) and made ourselves generous vodka cocktails every night. These things are. And it reminds me more urgently how far away I am from my mother. But enough of the gloom and doom. A is here. Here in the sa...Boss:...

A Little Imagination and a Pile of Junk: tutorial: self-portrait stencil
http://littleblackkitty.typepad.com/a_little_imagination_and_/2007/06/tutorial_selfpo.html
A Little Imagination and a Pile of Junk. Laquo; my new favorite thing. But let us say this: it rocked ». June 15, 2007. I am soooo excited about this one. Please do try it, especially you journal artists. It is a lot more fun than you'd think to manipulate images of yourself. Although I make stencils a lot, it had never occurred to me to do a self-portrait until I read Randi Feuerhelm-Watts' brilliant book, Wide Open. If you don't have her book, go get it. So many inspiring ideas! Okay, let's get to it.
