Like I stated last week: how can one imagine to ever be happy to be diagnosed with a second form of cancer, as it is “better” than the same cancer on such a different spot? Well the lung biopt – yes the one that has caused the pneumothorax -, turned out to contain a small amount of cancerous cells. Lung cancer, not cervical. It’s a pretty tiny spot, yet it needs to be treated too. Shocked? How I’m cooping? What will be the next step? The laparoscopy is needed to discover whether the cyst in my ovaries is a) innocent b) a result of the cervical cancer c) ovarian cancer.

I do however feel a certain “battle” going on, mainly for all those people in similar positions, who have no one to rely upon, or who are old, or lonely…. I always tended to believe it was. It is. But how does one coop with that, once the specialists tell you otherwise? I guess so…. Having said that, a small bummer came with it...

First things first is what they say, and for now that is a laparoscopic operation tomorrow… And yes, all the “wish me luck’s” are more than welcome.
