Been as pissed as a newt since Saturday 23rd. Two bottles of wine a night, up to four on two days when I wasn't at work. Gradually began cutting down from Thursday. By the grace of God, I got a phone call on Friday from a local alcohol support organisation. I had got in touch with them just before Christmas and never heard back, but I was OK.

Trip Around the Cornwall Coast in England. Our interest in lighthouses was started by staying at Longships cottage at Lizard lighthouse, which I think is the most southerly point in Britain. The location is very exposed as you would expect but the lizard lighthouse and building have been restored by Trinity House. Who seem to manage all of the lighthouses in the UK. Lost just over 1 stone in weight, bought a digital SLR, realised that I can sing, been out a fair bit, calming down over a fair few things, been playing the piano and trying not to spend too much money.
