Notes from the Westside. Tuesday, November 27, 2007. This year leading up to Thanksgiving I wasn't really feeling the holiday mood thing. Notes from the Westside. Tuesday, March 11, 2008. You not Nammaw, you Maynin.". That is the comment I heard over and over again this past week from my nephew Cameron. I went up to Y-town to celebrate his third birthday (side note: yes we did get the massive snow storm there as well.something like 15-17 inches) and following along in his brother's shoes he has started calling me Nammaw. Notes from the Westside. Monday, July 23, 2007. A Very "Harry" Weekend. I'm finally back to posting after a packed weekend with tons of activities, a lot of reading, and very little sleep. On Friday I took Lydia, Megan and Grif to Jump Zone for some highly entertaining bouncing and sliding. So tonight is the night when little ones dress up in costumes and go door to door trick-or-treating and rake in loads of cavities.oh wait, I mean candy. As you can see, neither of them look totally thrilled to be dressed up. Pipes went sort of crazy and started thrashing around the room a bit until he got his off. Chloe actually kept hers on for awhile. Maybe she was identifying with the outfit. Who knows? This weekend and don't want there to be issues.
