We got through a beautiful March only to get a little dose of weather reality for Easter. In late April Matt spent 4 nights in the hospital for an infected toe that went wild. Friday, May 20, 2011. This past Wednesday Zeke had cleft palate repair surgery. Things have gone relatively well and we are continually amazed at what a trooper our son can be. His mouth is very sore and he is not enjoying any food or drink right now. For the next two weeks he will have to eat only mashed or pureed food so we will need to be creative. Last year my teacher friends and I handmade the most adorable “three blind mice” costumes to wear for our costume parade at school. We planned them out months in advance, and got together in our off time to work on our creations. The costumes turned out to be adorable. We couldn’t wait to show them off at school.
