Meet the Real Barkers. Life and Times in Barker-dom. Friday, December 14, 2007. I apologize to all the faithful viewers of the Barker blog for taking so long to update you! Helen Kate has grown over 3 pounds since her birth- she weighs about 10 lbs now! It is no longer safe for me to put her down just anywhere around the house! I didn't know it was supposed to happen this fast! It was pretty funny though be. HK's sucking her dad's finger like it's a lollipop! She loves her daddy! Cute little chicken legs!

On Valentine's Day, Brian called while he was at work to ask me if I wanted to do something fun that night or something more relaxed. I replied with, "Do you KNOW me? So, we did something fun- we went to the new Great Wolf Lodge in Grapevine (a REALLY fun indoor water park)! When he came to pick me up, there was a Banana Republic box in the seat. Renewed Day by Day. Friday, August 29, 2008. Luke, the Great. 1 He loves his daddy and tries to be just like him. 2 He likes to be helpful. This morning, he helped me make the bed. I didn't ask for his help. He just started tugging on the covers. He threw pillows up onto the bed for me as well. He often helps me move laundry from the washer to the dryer. He always runs to get them mail when he hears it fall through the mail slot. He is kindhearted. 5 I love the way he pats me on the back when he hugs me.
