Landon is really into smiling these days and since Kate turned 3 we told her 3 year olds always smile for cameras. so far it's working! Saturday, July 9, 2011. Fun in Dubuque and Kate is 2! Kate is in full swing a 2 year old these days. She is talking non stop and has an opinion about everything! She had such a good time at her birthday party and then we headed up to Dubuque, IA for Jeff's work Conference. We had so much fun and Kate absolutely LOVED the water park at the hotel. Across the parking lot was an aquarium which was also HUGE! You will notice the fish in the picture is about twice her size too! Fun in Dubuque and Kate is 2!

Sunday, May 22, 2011. What better time to start wearing your winter hats than now. With the first 90 degree day of the year came Katelynn insisting on wearing her winter hat of all things outside to play! I have decided there are just certain battles not worth fighting. I now take back every time I ever thought to myself "I can't believe that mother dressed her child that way." haha! Cale had a great gymnastics meet today! She took first in the Bars, Beam. She took 2nd in the floor exercise and was 6th in the Vault. Overall she was the #1 All-Around Gymnast for her age group (6 year olds). This is a picture after she received her all-around medal. She was pretty excited- but guarded! How cute is she!
