Historical buildings and artifacts. This was Matt's first visit to DC and he was as impressed as any other 17 year old would be. We did lots of walking and did see just about everything. Since John and Colleen will probably not be in DC much longer this was a great opportunity for all of us.

Owen got a wonderful birthday present this year from his Grandma and Grandpa.a Zoo membership.it was a great gift because it just keeps giving and giving each time we make a trip there. Since his birthday we had enjoyed Zoo Boo in October and then went to Christmas at the Zoo on December 17th. It was wonderful! Grandma came along for fun to hang out with her grandson! Sunday, November 27, 2011. First Sunday of Advent. The kids are getting things that I think they'll love, rather than just trying to fill the space under the tree. I'm also really excited about Tony's gifts.but I'm not telling! After lunch, we went to Mount St. Francis for a Secular Franciscan meeting. It fell right during naptime, and of course Sophie fell asleep on the way home. In an unusual twist, she actually stayed asleep when we carried her in. It must have been a long weekend! Thursday, July 1, 2010. Crazy Days of Summer. The boys loved filling up their dump trucks and running along the beach at the cottage. She and John attended a wedding reception for one of John's friends who also attends the same law school. He was married last summer in India but has only been able to bring his bride over recently. The Browands
The sign at the boys' school was looking a little rough and in need of a rehab. We volunteered for the project and were given the go-ahead by the school and district. We were confident it needed just a little TLC. Jeff power washed the first day while the boys and I ate lunch. It needed to dry overnight then we could paint and seal! The second day was dry, hot, and clear. Jeff painted the letters and orca while we were at VBS and then we joined him for sealing in the afternoon. It turned out beautiful!
