Sunday, June 24, 2012. Sunday, June 17, 2012. The second pics are of Lake Blanche, here in the Wasatch. We did this big hike last week with heavy packs, just to ease our minds that we will survive the Alps! Our legs were sore for a couple days (6-7 miles with 3000' up, then down). Only about 4 hours, so we should be good to go! Got ALL DAY in the Alps to do 8-10 miles. That is only about 1-1.5 mph, should be no problem! We'll let you know. Baby, baby Moose. Dog size! Sunday, December 2, 2012. Dec 1, mountain biking again. This weekend was December 1st and for the second year in a row we have had temperatures in the upper 50's and lower 60's. Needless to say a better weekend for biking than skiing. Actually, I do think it snowed up in the mountains this weekend, but it was pretty nice here in the valley so I decided to stay and bike. Saturday, January 12, 2013. Snow, snow, snow. Alta looking at Mt Superior. Grill looks cold and lonely! Pre-snow inversion. BAD air! Well- week 2 of the New Year and another GOOD storm. We received 18inches at our house over the last 2-3 days. A good couple day total. May get an additional 2-8" between now and Sunday night as well. Nice fluffy Utah powder. Very cold however!
