Tacoma City - Seattle Runners. Nov 23rd, 2008 11:31 pm. Okay, so it's not really Seattle, but has anyone had experience with the Tacoma City half marathon? It's on my list of planned runs, but have no idea what the terrain is like. Is it flat? 2008-11-24 04:47 pm (UTC). 2008-11-25 04:59 am (UTC). I did the full marathon last year and all I can say is that second half of the full was brutal hill wise for me.

Oct 19th, 2009 08:19 am. My husband and I just ran the 10k Dawg Dash yesterday, and I was thinking about maybe running another race in the next couple months. Jan 31st, 2010 08:47 pm. Ever since first seeing Band of Brothers. If you haven't, shame on you, and go get your hands on a copy! I got inspired to run up a mountain. The company in the show did (several times a day). I figured if I was ever in Toccoa, GA, I'd run it - it apparently rises about 800 vertical feet over 3 miles. The run is to the summit, then back down in under 50 minutes. I have a LOOOONG way to go to be able to do it in that amount of time, but would still like to have a goal.
