Monday, August 3, 2009. This is what it looks like to have pride in your country. Unfortunately for Alyssa she happens to be wearing the getup for the CANADIAN army reserve. My brother in law ( Uncle Kingsley to Alyssa ) happens to be part of the reserve in Canada. In fact. He just left today for another month long training session. While we were up for an extended visit, he thought it would be fun to dress up my eldest in his gear. I don't think I would feel so light hearted. Give em heck Alyssa!

So in the van we crammed and to the beach we fly. We hunt for crabs and starfish under sand and foot. Then we stop to get an ice cream down in Tilamook. I wish they all could be California "days". Friday, December 31, 2010. Rich and Vibrant and full of People. Now I am all for supporting the whole discovering yourself and finding inner peace,and all that blah blah blah, but I really was not left with a feeling that she really grew that much from start to finish. Maybe I would feel differently if I read the book, although I know all of one person who was ever able to even finish the book, so maybe not. Friday, March 11, 2011. It has been quiet. It has been a really long time since I have posted and that is mostly due to the fact that my life has been pretty quiet.I have been looking for work.never ending. I have started volunteering at my old job. They also have hired me on 5 hours a week to do admin work. It isn't a lot but it is something. I am getting a sweet refund from my taxes and Jeff and I are going to join a gym with part of it! Anyway pretty sad update, but that is my life currently.
