Worth a Thousand Words: Assateague Island – 2014
http://www.meganamato.blogspot.com/2014/08/assateague-island-2014.html
Worth a Thousand Words. Thursday, August 7, 2014. Assateague Island – 2014. Ocean City, MD – May 2, 2014: A pony grazes by the bay on Assateague Island. Just like Ocean City, I’ve already talked about Assateague Island before on this blog. The allure of trying to capture images of the fames wild ponies that live here is just too tempting as a photographer! Ocean City, MD – May 2, 2014: Two herons walk through the marsh in Assateague Island. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). My photos are a record of wh...
Worth a Thousand Words: Boothbay Harbor
http://www.meganamato.blogspot.com/2014/03/boothbay-harbor.html
Worth a Thousand Words. Friday, March 14, 2014. Boothbay Harbor, ME – September 10, 2013: Ships of all sizes dock in Boothbay Harbor. Time seems to stand still when you visit Boothbay Harbor. In today’s world, it seems impossible to think that a small village would still exist. I’ve been to Maine several times, but I think this might be the winner for the Most Stereotypical Maine (in a good way! Town that I’ve visited. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Worth a Thousand Words: Baltimore – Harbor East
http://www.meganamato.blogspot.com/2014/04/baltimore-harbor-east.html
Worth a Thousand Words. Tuesday, April 8, 2014. Baltimore – Harbor East. Baltimore, MD – March 15, 2014: A small bridge stretches over the Chesapeake Bay near Pier 6 Pavilion. When you’re walking around downtown Baltimore, you can go from very safe to very scary in a matter of blocks. This used to be the case for the waterfront that was next to the Inner Harbor. Baltimore, MD – March 15, 2014: Many ships are docked in Harbor East. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile.
Worth a Thousand Words: Update – November 6, 2013
http://www.meganamato.blogspot.com/2013/11/update-november-6-2013.html
Worth a Thousand Words. Wednesday, November 6, 2013. Update – November 6, 2013. ACADIA NATIONAL PARK – SEPTEMBER 5, 2013: A scenic carriage trail winds around Jordan Pond. So much has happened since I’ve last posted! To start, I’ve just updated my site with some brand new pictures from Acadia! There are only a few posted right now (mostly from Jordan Pond. But there is one from Cadillac Mountain. As well), but more will be posted in the coming months…. Account for all my updates! My photos are a record o...
Worth a Thousand Words: Bar Harbor – Shore Path
http://www.meganamato.blogspot.com/2013/03/bar-harbor-shore-path.html
Worth a Thousand Words. Thursday, March 7, 2013. Bar Harbor – Shore Path. The Shore Path at low tide (Photo taken August 11, 2012). The Shore Path is a wonderful place to take pictures! It’s basically a crushed gravel path raised high enough so you don’t have to worry about high tide washing you away. I’d recommend visiting during low tide, though…You’ll get great shots of everything that gets covered up by high tide! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile. London Calling
London Study Abroad 2012. Sunday, September 16, 2012. Home Again, Home Again. It's good to be home! Although I love love loved my trip, there is nothing quite as sweet as seeing your family and being welcomed home :) I landed in the evening and guess what I got to see right as I stepped outside of the terminal? Even though I had 1000 lbs of bags with me, I ran like Forrest Gump. Of course I cried (I'm a crier.) After, we headed on over to the loading area where my Dad was! What a cute sign! On the way ho...

An open mind and a heart to serve
An open mind and a heart to serve. Here is a glimpse into my life as a Peace Corps volunteer in Nicaragua. Tuesday, December 18, 2012. Good to be home. We are finally here in Oregon- actually got here Sunday afternoon, but now finally catching up with time. It's been nice to be home :) It feels a little weird since I haven't been here in over 2 years, but it's good. We've been enjoying the slower pace and eating up all my Dad's delicious cooking. Well, since I finished PC and I'm back in the US for good,...
