Saturday, June 27, 2015. For the record. 6 year and 4 year checkups. I recently took GA and Lizzie for their annual checkups (GA's was 6 months late, but she wasn't due for any shots so I just waited to do them together! Poor Lizzie had to get 4 shots! It was so sad, but that wasn't as miserable to deal with as Grace Ann getting her blood pressure checked! 43 pounds (25th Percentile). 45 inches (also 25th Percentile). 35 pounds (50th Percentile). 41 inches (75th Percentile). Monday, April 13, 2015. Will and I enjoyed a delightful trip to Boston with his company. It was a little chilly up there, but otherwise we had a great time. Aunt Ru took great care of the girls! Our first night at dinner by the harbor. Modern Pastry is so yummy in little Italy. Our "lobster tail" pastry was one of the best desserts I've ever had! The North Church in the background. Sunday, October 26, 2014. 2014 Cheer Clinic and Rebelette Rally. Grace Ann had a ball cheering at the high school game on Friday night and being part of the dance clinic on Saturday. She loves being with the "big girls"! Sunday, October 12, 2014. Grace Ann and I went to see the Children's Theater production of The Wizard of Oz. Tuesday, April 7, 2015. Adam and I were blessed to be able to steal away for several days to Savannah,GA to celebrate our ten years if married bliss. To say we enjoyed ourselves would be an understatement. To romantic squares upon squares. Savannah was good to us! We rested. We walked. We dreamed together and hashed current decisions out uninterrupted. And we ate. A lot. We enjoyed being spoiled by special treats and shout outs. We celebrated St. Patrick's with the locals. We saw green goats and pigs.

Wednesday, March 25, 2015. The World is Heavy but Life is Good. Recently our text threads have been filled with serious prayer requests and concerns. They reflect real grown up lives as we face death of loved ones, unexpected loss of peers, and health concerns and fears. The world around us seems to have, as one friend put it, gotten "heavy". But just like always Spring springs forth and He reminds me Life is Beautiful! Life is hard and ugly and painful. It breaks you down. But oh He loves!
