Is een familiebedrijf en omvat 3 vennootschappen met elk een aantal specifieke activiteiten. Het verhaal begint in de 70-er jaren met de aanleg van de E3 (nu E17) tussen Gent en Antwerpen, waarbij de stichter Maurice Meganck betrokken werd voor het grondverzet. Van daaruit werd een eerste eigen zandwinning opgestart te Waasmunster, vervolgens nog uitgebreid naar Laarne en Oudenaarde, en tijdelijk ook naar het vliegveld te Lochristi. Hier klopt het hart van het bedrijf. Worden geleid waardoor gewassen.

De vernieuwde site meganck.be. Biedt vanaf nu foto's aan over de familie MEGANCK. Dit domein was sinds de nieuwe naam voor ons bedrijf niet meer gebruikt. Vanaf nu willen wij dit domein gaan gebruiken als een verzameling van foto's van vroeger en nu.
