Sharing the happenings in my life with family and friends. Sunday, July 26, 2015. This is probably the most difficult project I've done to date. It was a collaborative effort between myself, my gran, and grandad. I could not have seen my vision through without the knowledge and resources they were able to provide along the way. Last summer I purchased this chair off of a facebook garage sale from a photographer who used it for props. I paid $40 for it and have this as my only true, "before" picture.

Megan's Blog: August 2014

http://www.meganconn.blogspot.com/2014_08_01_archive.html

Sharing the happenings in my life with family and friends. Sunday, August 3, 2014. I can't get over how long it has been since I've blogged. This has been the busiest summer of my life! How is it already August? I have seen this floating around Facebook and it is a very accurate description of how I currently feel on August 3rd! Taught summer school, began 2 summer courses, had 9 hours (3 half-days) of professional development, and was on the hunt for a new teacher for our team. There it is. Only bummer ...

http://www.meganconn.blogspot.com/2015/03/first-quarter-of-2015.html

Sharing the happenings in my life with family and friends. Sunday, March 15, 2015. First Quarter of 2015. I haven't blogged in so long and so much has happened in 2015! Every month so far has had a trip and a running event! I've been super busy, so here is a quick re-cap:. Started the year off great with a 24 day challenge, a trip to Houston for my friend Caroline's son's first birthday party, and a trip to Austin to run the 3M Half-Marathon. That was by far the hi-light of the month! I have a bucket lis...

Sharing the happenings in my life with family and friends. Sunday, June 15, 2014. Summer Break is here! The first week has already come and gone, just as I know that is how the first month is going to be. I am teaching summer school again, and taking 2 grad courses, so the first month is going to be filled with waking up early, dressing professional etc. I will have a day or 2 to collect my thoughts and pack for CHICAGO. Plane tickets and hotel arrangements already done. (Beginning of July). Finish - Che...

http://www.meganconn.blogspot.com/2015/06/washington-dc-trip.html

Sharing the happenings in my life with family and friends. Tuesday, June 2, 2015. Washington D.C. Trip. Within 24 hours of Melissa and I booking our San Francisco Trip, she saw southwest flights to Washington D.C. for $54 each way. For $108 roundtrip, we counted ourselves in for an another long weekend adventure. Thursday, May 28th - Arrival. Dropped off our bags and immediately walked the half mile to the White House. By this time it was about 1am the next day, aka, my 26th birthday. Again, we were shoo...

Keeping up with the Kuhlmans: June 2015

http://kuhlmans.blogspot.com/2015_06_01_archive.html

Keeping up with the Kuhlmans. Friday, June 26, 2015. Happy Thursday because Mommy was home from work with Beau! Lincoln went to VBS with William, and Beau got to help Mommy clean out the playroom. He regulated on which toys were ok to donate and which ones needed to stay . . . all while wearing his fireman costume! We had three trash bags full of stuff to donate to Goodwill! Daddy sent us a selfie from Belgium, so took a selfie to send Daddy! The Golden Sombreros in the field! So much fun to come! Tuesda...

Keeping up with the Kuhlmans: February 2015

http://kuhlmans.blogspot.com/2015_02_01_archive.html

Keeping up with the Kuhlmans. Thursday, February 26, 2015. Ice Over, Getting Back to Normal. Lincoln's reaction to going back to school on Wednesday wasn't nearly as dramatic. He was a little sluggish when getting ready for school, but Mommy had library duty and saw the excited little Kindergartner in his element. After our cold invitation deliveries, Lincoln asked for a few science experiments. Why not? Beau donned his safety glasses quickly and was ready to begin. We did an experiment of water, red foo...

http://kuhlmans.blogspot.com/2015_03_01_archive.html

Keeping up with the Kuhlmans. Tuesday, March 31, 2015. Lincoln's 6th Birthday Party! Lincoln's 6th birthday party was super fun! He picked Angry Birds as his theme, and he was so excited to celebrate with Kindergarten friends: from his class, soccer team, basketball team, and baseball team. The door decoration was a picture of sweet Lincoln! Nana never disappoints in helping with decorations. As usual, Lincoln has the cutest party ever! How sweet does he look? So glad they love each other so much! Was cr...

Keeping up with the Kuhlmans: July 2015

http://kuhlmans.blogspot.com/2015_07_01_archive.html

Keeping up with the Kuhlmans. Sunday, July 19, 2015. After our trolley ride and fun at the park, we took a break at home to cool off and rest a bit. The pool was the best way to end the afternoon. Lincoln was a diving board maniac! He later abandoned the motorboat (pool noodle floatie) and was doing crazy twists off the diving board. That reserved little kid of a few weeks ago who would barely and carefully jump off the diving board with so much caution has totally changed! Love his swimming spirit!

Keeping up with the Kuhlmans: August 2015

http://kuhlmans.blogspot.com/2015_08_01_archive.html

Keeping up with the Kuhlmans. Thursday, August 27, 2015. Tennis coach Ms. Sally posted a few pictures of Lincoln at camp from last week. Umm . . . when did he turn 12? He looks so grown up in this picture from golf camp. Yes, he's wearing one shoe. Apparently, they use the other shoe as a ball marker. Weird? But seriously, he's totally 12 and who knew he could rock the hat backwards look so well! He's loving tennis and that's so fun. Ready to sleep in after all of this fun and have a sunny weekend! The b...

Keeping up with the Kuhlmans: Ready for the Weekend

http://kuhlmans.blogspot.com/2015/08/ready-for-weekend.html

Keeping up with the Kuhlmans. Saturday, August 1, 2015. Ready for the Weekend. The boys got to hang with Nana and Pops on Friday all day! They had a blast, and we met up (after Mommy was done with work) for haircuts with Mr. Danny. Lincoln was looking super sharp after his trim, and Beau had a bit of a problem with getting hair in his mouth during his haircut. Yuck! Lots of swimming on Saturday . . . and a nice brother hug before snacks. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Life with Adie and Emmy! Kevin ...

Keeping up with the Kuhlmans: November 2014

http://kuhlmans.blogspot.com/2014_11_01_archive.html

Keeping up with the Kuhlmans. Sunday, November 30, 2014. We all slept in and enjoyed a slow start to the day. The boys had breakfast picnic-style while watching the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. They had to jump up and dance when fun songs came on. Silly guys! Mandatory food picture before we all got seated for the prayer . . . The only other picture taken on Thanksgiving day was a wild one! The kids played like crazy! We all discussed what we were thankful for, and family was the winner! Lincoln's sch...

http://kuhlmans.blogspot.com/2015_05_01_archive.html

Keeping up with the Kuhlmans. Sunday, May 31, 2015. Wednesday Night - Baseball, Pizza, and Gelato. After numerous rained out baseball games, the White Sox had a game in the grassy mud on Wednesday evening. They had a great game, and we love how they are really improving at hitting and fielding. This season has been so disjointed with so many rained out games and practices (just like the spring soccer season), but they are trying their best. Go White Sox! At least everyone had fun and was well-fed! The ki...
