I graduated Agnes Scott College in 1985 with a BA in Mathematics, then in the following 25 years built a successful business and raised two sons. I returned to college at Kennesaw State University to pursue a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree with a concentration in drawing and painting. My focus is on realism in still lifes, landscapes and figure studies, incorporating narrative when appropriate. I find comfort and peace in nature, and so nature is represented in nearly all of my works, particularly in.

Lovingkindness won 1st Place! July 9, 2015 Painting. Lovingkindness won first place in an art competition held by the Office of Diversity at Kennesaw State University in 2014, and it now hangs in their office. July 8, 2015 Painting. Food Pyramid was selected by the Marietta/Cobb Museum of Art to be displayed in their Metro Montage XV art show in 2015.
