Friday, October 26, 2012. Apparently I've fallen off the face of the earth once again. All you other mommies of 2 , how in the heck do you find time to blog AND take care of kiddos AND get everything else done! I'm at a loss ;). So here's a quick rundown on our happenings the last few weeks:. After the flu epidemic left our house we were healthy for all of 3 days. Then batman threw his back out big time- as in was out of work for 4 days and is still having tons of pain 3 weeks later :(. Welcome to my life.

Tuesday, March 20, 2012. She don't like cabbage. Last night I made some sauted cabbage for dinner with rice and vegetables. Batman and I are big fans and eat a lot of it over the summer when we are getting farm fresh (organic) cabbage from our farm. Last summer Little Miss seemed to have no problem eating it. She liked it even. At this point the entire contents of her stomach exploded all over her, her plate, and her booster tray. All of it. And she sat there smiling through it all. Friday, September 14, 2012. Sorry to keep you waiting! He made it and rather quickly ;) I'll have the full birth story up in a couple days when we get settled at home, but he's here and perfect! Trey Benjamin born at 1pm. 8lbs 2oz, 20.25 in long. I had the BEST nurse ever :) and a great coach in batman. Trey is a great nurser so far and we are so in love! Here's a couple pics to tide you over until I can get the rest up with the birth story. Aww, his little cheeks are adorable! Congratulations to you all!

Tuesday, February 28, 2012. Big Fat. Liar. Yep, that's what I'm calling myself these days. Emphasis on the Big and Fat and Liar parts. I really have been busy though. Lots going on around here keeping us on our toes. But regardless, here's the first (of many, I assure you) baby #2 post! Taken at 12wk, 1dy. I'm still learning with my new camera. If anyone has any tips, please TELL ME! 12 weeks, 5 days. Baby #2 is about 2 inches long and the size of an egg. S/he weighs about a half an ounce. We'll find out...

Thursday, September 13, 2012. It just hit me. I'm having a baby tomorrow. I'm having a BABY. I'm starting to get a little anxious. Not so much about L&D, but mostly about the idea of an infant in the house, adding to our family, how Brynna is going to react, how the dynamic is going to change. I'm a big ball of nerves. 24 hours from now, I'm sure I will be just fine, but right now? I'm going a little crazy,. I could use a few prayers too ;-). Ill be thinking of you tomorrow and Ill keep you in my prayers!

Sunday, September 23, 2012. Finally, Trey's birth story. As you can imagine, it's been a bit of an exhausting week. We came home last Sunday and it's been kind of a blur since. Taking care of 2 kiddos, even with help, can be a challenge at times and is going to take some getting used to (any tips BTDT? Hopefully, it gets easier? So, the birth story. And as a side note is studying to be an NP-CNMW and will graduate in April- hence why she was so awesome! She suggested I try sitting on the toilet backwards...

Friday, September 14, 2012. The day is here. And here is sit in a hospital bed. Pitocin was started about 35 min ago. I'm contracting regularly every couple min, but nothing I cant handle. In fact I can barely feel them lol. It's startlingly similar so far to my labor with b. I'm waiting on my doc to come and check me and then break my water, which should be in the next half hour or so. I'll update more when I can! Or rather batman might be the one ;) here we go!
