Our other one broke. Which just goes to show you that you should always buy the more expensive product first because the cheaper one is sure to break. Ironically, today it has been very, very windy. Yesterday I had at least two people mistake me for a native. However, this was before I opened my mouth, but whatever. I chalk it up to wearing a nice skirt. Depending on what kind of day I´m having, I can dress myself to assimilate, it´s pretty easy for me with the brown hair. But oh, how I miss my sweatpants. Time for me to scoot off to my one.

Saturday, January 27, 2007. The combination of monsoons and no laundry dryers. Our residence hall does not have laundry dryers here; we only have drying racks outside of our room/ building. The problem is that it downpours at least once a day and the drying process is usually defeated by the monsoon. How do dry your clothes then? Ha Good question. Saturday, December 30, 2006. Singapore experiences wettest December since 1869. According to Channel News Asia. Singapore received 760 milimeters of rain in the month of December alone, which translates to nearly 3 feet of rain! I realize that it is better than 3 feet of snow, and I do understand that the month of December is over and I missed this massive amount of rain. Still, I did not consider life in a monsoon. Monday, March 19, 2007. Hong Kong and Macau. Alicia, Jen, and I woke up with plans to leave at 6 am Thursday morning, but of course Jeremy was missing. We went and knocked on his door and woke him up, so after he got dressed and packed his bag we were able to leave. We. Arrived at the airport with plenty of time though, and flew to Macau. From there we took a boat to Hong. Floor of a building we saw. We checked in and headed. Out for our first official Chinese meal. Like mushroom soup and curry squid.
