Sunday, October 13, 2013. You may have noticed that I have been MIA on le blog. It’s been for good reason. A lot has been going on in the J and M household. And to be honest I couldn’t write about it. Maybe I shouldn’t say couldn’t, as much as, didn’t want to. I didn’t know where to start and I didn’t know what I wanted to put it in a public forum. I have done everything possible over the past 7 years to make this blog as private as possible aside from requiring a sign-in. My sister is also adopted.

Wednesday, May 30, 2012. I can't help but think about the fact that I will be 29 in a month. To say that this week has been a time of reflection would be an understatement. Monday night, I slept for a whole 90 minutes. Not consecutive. That's all I could get. My brain refused to turn off. I sat the majority of the night in self-reflection and analyzed my life, my goals, my intentions and mostly myself. What is it about leaving your twenties that is so terrifying? Friday, November 28, 2014. Thanksgiving 2014- I Am Thanful For Adequate Plumbing. This year, for Thanksgiving, we had the family coming over to our house to eat. That meant Ryan and I would be cooking our first Thanksgiving dinner. I will be honest with you: the idea of it terrified me. I am not what you would call a "good cook." Tuesday, February 25, 2014. For a little over a year now, I have been planning on getting tattoos of my mom and dad on my leg. But each time the appointment came around- I canceled it. I was nervous about how they would turn out! I didn't want to be that. You know, the one walking around with an ugly tattoo and no one had the heart to tell her. It wasn't because of the tattoo artist- I'd seen lots of his work and it was amazing. But so worth it! Like the picture.Can't wait to get it all finished up!
