A record of my time in Germany and throughout Europe! Just wanted to update everyone that there is a new Meyer in town! Born: 9/20/2009 - 5:15 PM. I have run out of internet (I think) and am currently mooching off someone's wireless, so no more skype chatting I guess. I am off to Munich for Oktoberfest this Saturday then to Venice followed by Rome, I will be gone until October 4th, so if you don't see any posts or hear from me don't fret, I am simple just not able to be mobile with communications! I am very excited, I was supposed to go to Spain back in highschool but our trip was cancelled due to heightened terrorist alerts, so now I finally get to go! I hope everyone has a wonderful Thanksgiving, I am very sad I don't get to eat any Turkey this year. A record of my time in Germany and throughout Europe! Paris Day 2: Super Tourist Attractions. After canceling our hotel in Amsterdam and getting our reservations to Frankfurt, we set off to find the Arc de Triomphe, then went to the Eiffel Tower so that we could go up to the top. This involved a lot of waiting in various lines but was worth it for the view from the top! Part of the Louvre. Inside the Egyptian temple. Inside the Notre Dame. Beware of pickpockets at the Eiffel Tower! Love and miss you all!

We hopped an ICE train, aka super fast German train, to the Frankfurt airport where we jetted off to Madrid. It was the best hostel we have been in yet and it being on a boat with a grumpy and grungy man running it made it quite authentic and amusing.
