http://megmullins.blogspot.com/2014/02/are-you-hack.html
Thursday, February 13, 2014. Are you a hack? Does this question haunt you? Does it make you silent for a year? If so, do you also find yourself wondering if, really, there is anything inherently bad about hacks? Aren’t some of them kind and funny and sometimes smell good? Aren't some of them not exactly a blossom, but a little pink glove? And who's to say which one is better? What if all those folks who claim to know who exactly the hacks are not, are hacks themselves? December 17, 2014 at 4:01 AM.

http://megmullins.blogspot.com/2015/06/hazy-summer.html
Tuesday, June 2, 2015. I'm thinking a lot about time. About the green hills from my childhood summers. Those horses standing atop the hills, whose immense bodies and warm breaths made my smallness smaller. Where do those moments live now? Intuitively I know that they are not gone. Nothing disappears. They exist in my mysterious brain until they don't. And then? The world vanished with us. We take it, piece by piece, to the silent place. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). More Than I Say Out Loud. Writerly musings. Inspiration. Despair. Too much information. Thursday, July 26, 2012. She was amazing. wish I got her name! Around the fourth of July we realized that the house had some major issues we weren't comfortable with and the deal fell through. So hard. So adult. We are keeping our heads up and will most likely make a move within the next 12 months. Now that I know we are here for a while and taking a break the tears have STOPPED! The depression is slowly lifting!

More Than I Say Out Loud. Writerly musings. Inspiration. Despair. Too much information. Friday, August 10, 2012. Life is not the easiest thing. So many events and people and happenings in my life of late are awesome and amazing and beautiful too. What the hell am I so FREAKED OUT ABOUT? But then something happens and everything feels OK. Or at least like it's not so full of suck. Is this what a midlife crisis is? But for me, it's a real truth. This is a long way to say that you should all run to your nea...

More Than I Say Out Loud. Writerly musings. Inspiration. Despair. Too much information. Tuesday, February 18, 2014. Ok I finally saw the movie and dear reader, I don't know if it was the blinding sinus headache prying my brain apart, the vertigo inducing 3D glasses perched over my regular glasses or the sight of my two children and husband giggling in unison at the screen but: I cried. Wept really. At the end there, I was a slobbering mess. And I can't stop singing the song. LEGO LEGO LEGO LEGO LEGO LEGO.

Thursday, July 20, 2017. Tyranny of the quantifiable. Are there things you cannot convey with words or even actions? Do you worry that words are never adequate? That you've never actually expressed yourself with any bit of accuracy? What are you striving to convey? Will language always fail to describe the truly valuable things and, then, it seems, leave us in peril? And the electricity in your body when you imagine either one of you not existing anymore? There is not a box to check to apply for more of ...
