Monday, January 31, 2011. The holidays came and went quietly. Mom was with Sandee for Thanksgiving and the rest of us were scattered to in-laws and friends. Christmas was full of goodies and talk. Some games, but not quite as many as usual, we all seemed to enjoy talking and catching up a bit more. The babies are toddlers now and they caused us all to smile and remember Christmas magic. Sunday, September 26, 2010. End of September part 2. The third week-end of September brings my Zanika reunion. It was terrific. Left right after school and drove into the Cascade mountains. Made to one of my alternate homes, Camp Zanika. For the last five miles I drove with the windows wide open (despite a light rain) and took in the smell of pine trees, a lighter drier eastern washington air, and views of the lake. Enjoy the photo. Camp is such a great place. Meg. Much more joy will be had this year!

The weather has been cool for quite awhile now, but spring flowers are still finding enough sun to bloom. At the moment my Lupine are standing 4 feet tall and welcoming any hummers who might pass by. He was born 07/16/08, He weighed in at 1#11oz. he was in the hospital three mo. ten days. He weighs almost 8# now and doing great. We celebrate and welcome him home. Since mh own children Ray, Sandee, Ina, Tom, and David marriee and left home, I have had the joy of welcoming ten grand children and eight great grandcihildren into the family.
