Writer's Block...: 2010! Write On!
http://ladypodge.blogspot.com/2010/01/write-on.html
Sunday, January 10, 2010. Okay, so first off, I just realized that the title of my last post was totally spelled wrong (I just changed it). For those who don't know, I'm dyslexic, so although I write well, I do not now, and never have spelled extraordinarily well. But I've never let it stop me from writing.thank goodness. What the heck are editors for if not to fix spelling errors? It just go to show you that the only thing that can hold you back from accomplishing your dreams is you. The Fancy Deep" by ...

Writer's Block...: LDS Story Maker's Conference
http://ladypodge.blogspot.com/2010/04/lds-storymakers-conference.html
Sunday, April 25, 2010. LDS Story Maker's Conference. So me and my dear friend Kristen Knight (check out her website The Fancy Deep down under my favorite sites)went to the LDS Story Maker's Conference this past weekend, and it was fabulous and successful. Not only did we learn some great tips on how to be better writers and get published, but we both pitched to Shadow Mountain Publishing (they are an imprint of Deseret Book) and we both got requests to see more. Prayers are greatly appreciated.
Writer's Block...: Truly, Madly, Deeply...
http://ladypodge.blogspot.com/2010/03/truly-madly-deeply.html
Monday, March 1, 2010. Truly, Madly, Deeply. I came across this article http:/ www.nytimes.com/2005/03/27/fashion/27love.html? It just makes sense to me. In the end, the two of you are all you have once the kids are gone so shouldn't you be looking out for each other first and foremost? Anyway, just my two cents that have nothing what-so-ever to do with writing. March 1, 2010 at 12:41 PM. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). New York Times Bestsellers for Kids. Writer's Block...: Another "Rubbish" Read
http://ladypodge.blogspot.com/2009/12/another-rubish-read.html
Tuesday, December 1, 2009. Alright, now that I've let my feelings about. Simmer a little, and am thinking a bit more rationally than my last post (A post I felt rather guilty about and so deleted it from my blog for those of you who don't know what I'm talking about), I'm back to tell you that. Was still one of the dumbest books I've ever read. Seriously. It's a knock off of. I will say no more. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). New York Times Bestsellers for Kids. Writer's Block...: "Bright Star"
http://ladypodge.blogspot.com/2009/10/bright-star.html
Friday, October 30, 2009. My good friend Ashley told me about this film and invited me to go see it with her yesterday. For those of you who haven't heard of it, it's a story about John Keats the poet and his love or Muse that inspired his greatest poems (don't know much about Keats' life, but apparently it's a true story). If you love artistic (not artsy-fartsy, necessarily) but very sophisticatedly made, and very human movies, you need to see this one. October 30, 2009 at 11:34 AM.
Writer's Block...: Keats
http://ladypodge.blogspot.com/2010/03/keats.html
Tuesday, March 9, 2010. I've been pretty interested in the poet John Keats since I saw the movie. And was so mesmerized by his ability to paint vivid, breath-taking word pictures. If I could write like Keats, no matter how old-fashioned it might sound, I would. Isabella or The Pot of Basil: A Story of Boccaccio. Which I assume means that the story was originally told by Giovanni Boccaccio, the famous 14th century author and humanist. The second poem I read was his. For those of you who don't know who Lam...

MEG's Book Blog. A young adult's guide to books. In honor of this book, I will name 13 reasons why you should read it. The book has a good ending that doesn’t leave you prying for answers. When Hannah describes all of the things that happen to her, you slowly begin to register that some things that you would consider harmless could bring a person to tears. On a much simpler note, the book has a good plot, not wanting you to put the book down. WARNING: this next reason is really lame! I know that it goes ...

Meg is an author writing books for children and young adults. Marian Keen Book Signing. Write, Rewrite, Edit, Polish. March 15, 2013 in Who is Meg? When I was a young girl I took piano lessons. I really liked the piano until I was assigned The Blue Danube. By that time, I was sight-reading popular music and improvising some of my own touches, and the Blue Danube seemed so boring. Playing scales with my feet? I had oboes and violins and trumpets oh bliss! A whole orchestra was mine in that pipe organ.
