Sunday, April 11, 2010. If you're goin' through hell, keep on going don't slow down. Well this week had been interesting. Tuesday I was able to go to dinner with Ms. Mauri. And Ms. Jess. These ladies are my oldest friends in Nashvegas and we have all been through a lot together. It was really nice to get together, chat, have a few cocktails; I don't get to see them nearly enough. Wednesday I met up with JHolmes after my derm follow-up appointment. And Thursday - I was FINALLY able to work out again!

Sunday, May 15, 2011. All that I'm after is a life full of laughter. As long as I'm laughing with you. I've had an awesome Spring. I lost more weight (42 pounds total since last year), got a new job (and promotion! And I've had some awesome visits with friends and family! The lovely Sarah and Ross Kurtz came for a fun visit. Tiffers also came down for a visit and we had a great time. I took Patrick to visit Chapel Hill to meet the coolest chick ever (my niece Kalyn). We also got to see Terikins!

Wednesday, February 24, 2010. Mmm low calorie cooking. With my diet/workout plan, I've been cooking at home a lot more often. I've always enjoyed cooking but I've been trying tons of new recipes - low calorie shrimp and grits, hungarian beef goulash, low cal turkey chili, turkey lettuce wraps, chicken and corn showder, cream chicken enchiladas, beef enchilada pie, shrimp saltimboca with polenta, etc. (I can pass along recipes if they sound yummy to you :-). Sunday, April 4, 2010. Feeling a little like a leper. I stopped taking darvocet last night. Those are some pretty sweet pills but they pretty much put me to sleep and I wasn't able to be mobile. I was the Easter bunny yesterday AM at the zoo for 2 hours - Kiki was my handler. It was super cute. But after it was over I was REALLY ready to go back to sleep. I wish Meggers had been in town this weekend, it's been kind of lonely. Oh well. Hamlet and potatoes here I come. Happy Easter everybody. I RUN 4 RON.

A lot has happened since I last posted: fabulous vacation in the Caribbean, was a bridesmaid in my best friend Amy’s wedding, I found out that I’m going to be an AUNT to a lovely niece this November, I introduced my boyfriend to my family, had my second laser treatment on my neck and countless fun nights with friends. Tonight is my last night on this shift and I’ve been feeling very reflective. I’m ready. I’m ready for the next 4 years. 10. 20. 80....And I have Dr.Dre’s...Comfort...

Tuesday, January 26, 2010. This past weekend I went down to the ATX to spend an extended weekend with my boyfriend. It was a superfun time! We went to several of the restaurants and bars we had wanted to check out. I think in total we went to three different wine bars, a tapas bar, Texas chili, Thundercloud, etc. My BF enjoys making things from "scratch." And when I say from scratch, I mean from SCRATCH. I'm not talking about baking either. Anyways, along with my pygmy goat obsession, I also love love LO...
