Friday, February 22, 2013. Is it cold in here! It's definitely got me thinking of all the great stuff I plan to do this summer - go to the beach as often as possible, hit the drive-in theater, run the trail next to the river, and just plain enjoy some sun and warmth! This was the first time for my hubby and the kiddos. I missed some of my cousins, but all the aunts and uncles were there. We were at Fish Lake this year. Tuesday, October 30, 2012. I'm seriously behind on my blogging, but I have a good excuse. I was working on these. Meet Wendy, Captain Hook, Jake the Never Land pirate and Stinkerbell, wait, I mean Tinkerbell. :). We wore these to our ward Halloween party on Saturday. I'm hoping we'll actually get to wear them for Halloween, but we'll see if Hurricane Sandy feels differently. B loves wearing her costume, although I think she likes her leotard and ballet shoes more than the tutu and wings part.

Sunday, September 25, 2011. These are a few of my favorite things. Well, more like some of my favorite people. We had such a blast visiting family, but some of my "family" I didn't get to see enough of, and we're reserving time for you at Christmas! Drew was ridiculously kid-time starved, and he was so excited to go see his friend. They fought a little, like little boys do, but when he found out we weren't going back to the condo to hang out with S some more, he was really upset. Brent and meg talbot.

Saturday, August 27, 2011. Home again, home again, jiggity-jog. What an awesome month we've had, and we've started things off at home with a big week: Not only did Brent start school (ah-hem, his LAST year of school), so did Drew. Despite his rather silly attempt at a smile outside the school after I picked him up from his first day, I think he really loves it. I had a harder time dropping him off than he did going. Sunday, April 29, 2012. Aaaargh, birthday matey! My little man turned the whopping No. 5 on Monday. Holy cow I can't believe he's that old. Tuesday, July 5, 2011. We had an awesome 4th of July! It was so awesome (aka tiring) that the baby slept until 10:45 this morning. We went to a parade in Bethany, then had a BBQ with friends and finished it off with some fireworks in Edmond. Hope you all had an awesome 4th, too! I got a new lens that I've been trying out, and I'm not in love with the zoomed in end, but I'm crazy about the wide angle side of it. I really like the distortion; it's cool. Drew's legs look a mile long. Happy 4th of July!
