Feb 5th, 2014 at 11:57 AM. I admit, when we get a foot of snow and I don't have to drive to work, I tend to intersperse work with fun. So, today I did three things:. 1 I finally caught up on Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. (which I would have given up on except for Astrid's posts. If she loves something, it's worth keeping up with, that's my theory). And, well, damn, if the show seems to have hit a stride, and a super fun one at that! An SGA Fic Challenge (for whomever). Dec 26th, 2006 at 11:31 AM. And wondered if I could do it in SGA. So, I rapidly wrote a short ficlet this morning using the famous "Water, Water, everywhere" line from Coleridge's poem, which I'll post it in the next entry after this. Anyway, after writing it, I thought - why not see if anyone else wants to try? Probably no one will take me up on this, but what the heck. Thought I'd try. Nov 19th, 2006 at 8:19 PM. Okay, this music tag thing got me thinking. I really do listen to music constantly. It also explains why, in two of my stories (The Eledgias and Down Came a Spider) I had a number of musical references. The Eledgias was written when I was in the middle of a classical kick, and Spider when I was digging into classic rock. So, what about you guys? When you write, what's going on in the background? Do you need silence? Do you need the presence of others, or do you need to be alone?

Jan 7th, 2015 at 10:16 PM. Agent Carter was great fun! I don't think I've seen a female character that I've instantly loved that much in a long time. She was fantastic, and I love that she's so believable! I loved her Jackie Chan style of fighting (what's handy? Wham, bang, nighty night baddie! I'm sad it's got such a short life, but I'll love it while it's on. Can't recommend it enough! I didn't have an Agent Carter icon, so Emma Peel will have to do.). 3 comments Leave a comment.
